About SSIA

Conceptualised over coffee, consummated over meaningful chats and birthed with loads of hard work & dedication by a motley group of passionate women, South Sydney Indian Association (or SSIA as its fondly called) was incorporated on 13th January 2017

The seed idea was to give back to the community the love and support these women have received from it and in the process bring together the vibrant Indian brothers and sisters living in the southern suburbs of Sydney.

SSIA is a registered , non-profit organisation (Reg no INC1700025) .

The Core Committee comprises of President, Vice President , Secretary , Treasurer and Event Coordinator. The other members work in the capacity of Volunteers.

VISION & MISSION

We are on a Mission to uplift and support the Indian Community in Sydney & foster community spirit & togetherness. Care, Celebrate, Connect & Collaborate , will be our 4 drivers to achieve our mission & all the efforts & endeavours of the association will orbit around them.

Our Vision is create a vibrant, strong & spirited community & become a formidable influencer & enabler of positive impact in the community by 2025 . We want to be the ‘Go to’ people when it comes to enabling positive outcomes within the Indian community.
